The Technical Committee particularly welcomes papers that are related to the structural integrity aspects of Additive Manufacturing (‘3D printing’), as well as contributions relating to the following topics:
- Airworthiness considerations
- Advanced materials and innovative structural concepts
- Full-scale fatigue testing of aircraft and aircraft structural components
- Life extension and management of ageing fleets
- Structural health and structural loads monitoring
- NDI, inspections and maintenance
- Fatigue crack growth and life prediction methods
- Fatigue life enhancement methods and repair solutions
- Environmental effects
- Probabilistic modelling and risk analysis
Abstracts can be uploaded to the ICAF 2019 secretariat via the website. They will be reviewed by the Technical Committee and, for authors from ICAF member countries, by their national delegates. The authors of the selected abstracts will receive instructions for preparation of the final papers or posters. The proceedings of the symposium will be issued in book form. To ensure timely publication it is mandatory to meet the deadlines listed below.
